Competition Theme

The “Art on Climate” competition calls for entries of original works that address the theme of climate change. Participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from one or more of the following topics:

  • Building resilient communities for climate change: To prepare for the impacts of climate change and its risks, it’s essential to empower communities to adapt and withstand these challenges. Creating resilient communities will not only help deal with immediate impacts but also help to navigate future uncertainty.
  • Defining planetary boundaries: To ensure the continued stability and health of our planet, it’s imperative to define environmental limits within which humanity must operate. By recognizing and honoring these limits, we can make conscientious decisions to avoid causing permanent harm to ecosystems and the climate.
  • Fostering inclusive capitalism: By placing equal emphasis on both financial returns and social impact, inclusive capitalism seeks to create just, sustainable societies. Prioritizing long-term value creation, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility encourages businesses and investors to be more socially responsible. Embracing inclusive capitalism can help foster a fairer, more inclusive future.
  • Embracing innovative solutions with technology: Addressing the challenges posed by climate change requires technological innovation at a pivotal role. With the help of advanced technology, we can inspire others to proactively make a change and implement sustainable practices that play a vital role in shaping a better future.
  • Combating climate change with collective action: To mitigate climate change and create a sustainable future, it is necessary to bring together individuals, communities, businesses, governments, and international organizations in collective action.
