Woodrow Wilson Center International Fellowship

A stipend of up to $90,000 for a nine-month fellowship will be given to each successful candidate for the Woodrow Wilson Center Fellowship. This Fellowship aims to link the world of thoughts with the world of policy.

The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars promotes outstanding scholarships and links such study to issues of concern to Washington-area decision-makers in order to bridge the gap between the worlds of ideas and policy.

Recipients of the Woodrow Wilson Center Fellowship will be provided with the  following benefits:

  • A stipend of up to $90,000 for the full duration of the fellowship (9 Months)
  • Fellows are expected to take responsibility for their health insurance and travel expenses.

Requirements for Woodrow Wilson Center Fellowship

To be considered eligible for Woodrow Wilson Center Fellowship 2024, you must be or have the following:

  • Required Language: English.
  • A man or woman has outstanding capabilities and experience from a wide variety of backgrounds (including academia, business, government, journalism, law, and other professions).
  • You are a citizen or permanent resident of any country. However, applicants from countries outside the United States must hold a valid passport
  • The Applicant outside USA must also be able to obtain a J-1 visa even if him/her currently resides in USA.
  • D. or J.D. holders who see for academic positions, must have their degrees awarded by the application deadline.
  • academic candidates who have published works outside of their doctoral dissertations to show their scholarly accomplishments.
  • English proficiency is required because the Center wants to promote discussion among its participants.
