WomEng is Inviting Applications for its GirlEng Technovation Camp 2023, Applications are now officially Opened! WomEng is offering this Technovation Camp opportunity with the aim of Investing in the future of girls and women in engineering and technology.
The 2023 edition of the WomEng GirlEng Technovation Camp Program, is open to only 50 high-potential Grade 9-11 high school girls who are interested in pursuing a career in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics otherwise referred to as STEM.

About WomEng
WomEng has a mission to develop a diverse, equitable, and inclusive engineering and technology workforce. It is a social enterprise that seeks to develop high-skilled girls and women for the engineering and technology industries.
WomEng is focusing on engineering and technology from primary school to industry, with a belief that cognitive and behavioral skills are vital for the engineering workforce.
Asides from acquiring these skills, WomEng believes that it’s paramount for girls and women to have mentorship and leadership development opportunities to create a virtuous cycle of women participating in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
Furthermore, WomEng supports its partners to attract, develop and retain women in engineering.

Eligibility Criteria for WomEng GirlEng Technovation Camp 2023 Qualification
Interested girls and Women must meet the conditions below:
- Must be a Grade 9–11 high school girl currently studying mathematics (compulsory) and science (recommended).
- Candidate must be able to show high interest in pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) career.
- She must be residing in Johannesburg or the surrounding areas.
- Applicants must be available four days before the workshop.
