The University of Western Australia (UWA) is offering an exciting opportunity for the academic session of 2023-2024. The Global Excellence Scholarship is designed to support outstanding undergraduate, masters, and doctoral degree candidates from all over the world.
Financial Benefits
The University of Western Australia Scholarship 2023-24 provides generous financial benefits to its recipients. Undergraduate students selected for this scholarship will receive an amount of AUD$48,000, while masters and doctoral degree candidates will be awarded up to AUD$24,000.
This financial aid will be utilized as a tuition fee, allowing talented students to focus on their studies without financial burdens.
List of Available Study Fields
The University of Western Australia offers a wide array of study fields for which students can apply under the Global Excellence Scholarship program. However, there are a few exceptions. For undergraduate degree programs, applicants cannot apply for the following courses:
- Direct Pathway to Juris Doctor
- Direct Pathway to Medicine
- irect Pathway to Pharmacy
- Direct Pathway to Podiatry
- Direct Pathway to Dental Medicine
Likewise, for postgraduate degree programs, candidates are not eligible to apply for the following courses:

- Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis
- Graduate Certificate in Fieldwork Practice
- Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology
- Master of Business Psychology

- Master of Industrial and Organizational Psychology
- Juris Doctor
- Doctor of Philosophy and Masters – Clinical Psychology
- Doctor of Medicine
- Doctor of Dental Medicine

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the University of Western Australia Global Excellence Scholarship 2023-24, applicants must meet the conditions below:
- Applicants must be nationals of one of the countries listed above.
- Applicants must have received an offer letter for a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree at the University.
- Applicants must have achieved one of the following: ATAR of 85.00 – 98.00+; or WAM of 70.00 – 85.00+
How to Apply – University of Western Australia Global Excellence Scholarship 2023-24
- Separate applications are not required for the University of Western Australia Global Excellence Scholarship.
- Instead, they have to take admission in one of the degree programs at the university.
- Once admitted, applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
