The University of Ibadan (UI) is among the top tertiary institutions in the country, and they have a specific minimum score requirement for all prospective students. Only candidates who have achieved at least this score in the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) and Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) and have chosen UI as their first choice are eligible for consideration.
The cut-off mark for the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) 2023/2024 session has been announced to be 200. Prospective applicants to the University of Ibadan should ensure they verify the present UTME Cut-off mark for all courses. Meeting the specified cut-off point increases the likelihood of being granted admission, taking into consideration that a satisfactory O’Level result is also required.
UI also includes supplemental forms for candidates who did not meet the department’s minimum cut-off point. Candidates must have at least 5 credits in their WASSCE or NECO results, as well as a UTME score of at least 200. This is the current cut-off point for all departments at UI. Candidates interested in applying for admission to the University of Ibadan may read about the UI Post-UTME by visiting the UI Portal. https://student-portal.ui.edu.ng/login .
