PGT Excellence Awards Details
The University of Glasgow’s School of Geography and Earth Sciences is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence and academic pursuit. To support this vision, the school has introduced the SGE Sciences PGT Excellence Awards, offering a scholarship worth £10,000 to outstanding international post-graduate taught students.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the University of Glasgow School of Geography and Earth Sciences PGT Excellence Awards, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be international students to be eligible for the PGT Excellence Award
- Applicants are expected to hold an offer for a full-time program at the University of Glasgow, UK.
- Must demonstrate exceptional personal success skills, such as emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.
- Candidates must be highly motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Selection process based on merit and evidence of leadership.
- Applicants are required to provide evidence of meeting the University of Glasgow’s minimum English language proficiency requirements. Adequate English language skills are essential to ensure students can fully engage in their academic studies and campus life.

How to Apply for University of Glasgow PGT Excellence Awards?
The PGT Excellence Award will be offered to students with an offer to study at the University of Glasgow. However, this scholarship Award is given based on the Student’s academic merit.
The university will notify applicants being considered for the scholarship within six weeks of receiving their offer. There is no separate application form required, streamlining the process for applicants.
