Ubisoft Has Renamed Its Subscription Service

Hey there, so big news from Ubisoft! They’re shaking things up with their subscription service, now called Ubisoft Plus. Instead of juggling different plans, they’ve rolled everything into one neat package named Ubisoft Plus Premium. For $17.99 a month, you can play games across Xbox, PC, and Amazon Luna – pretty cool, right?

If you’re a Premium member, you’re in for a treat. You’ll get first dibs on new releases, sometimes even before they officially drop. Plus, you get to pick from the top-shelf editions, all the DLCs, and some sweet monthly rewards. And if you’re already on their PC Access plan, no sweat – you can stick with it and keep paying $14.99 a month.

Ubisoft Is Introducing Ubisoft Plus Classics

But wait, there’s more! Ubisoft is also introducing Ubisoft Plus Classics. It’s like a trip down memory lane with hits like Fallout 4, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs: Legion. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can already dive in, and now it’s hitting PC for $7.99 a month through the Ubisoft Store.

Philippe Tremblay, the big boss of Ubisoft’s subscription services, spilled some tea in a Q&A. He hinted at an exciting lineup of games coming our way, including early access and day-one releases. And guess what? They’re also planning to add the Activision Blizzard catalog.

Microsoft’s Deal with UK Regulators

Remember when Ubisoft got the rights to stream Activision Blizzard’s games last year, except in the EEA? That was part of Microsoft’s deal with UK regulators. The only bummer? We still don’t know when these games will hit Ubisoft’s premium service. Tremblay says they’re working on it to make sure it’s top-notch for subscribers, and promises more info soon. Stay tuned!
