Suicide Squad Release Date

You could just be right and even forgiven at this point in time for not believing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is ever going to be coming out. Rocksteady Studios, of Batman: Arkham series fame, has yet again delayed the game. And this is the second time the game has been delayed this year and the third time overall, thus taking the release date from 2022 to May 26th, 2023, to some much later date in 2023, and now to February 2nd, 2024.

The Game Was Heavily Featured in Sony’s February State of Play This Year

The game Suicide Squad in the early parts of this year was heavily featured in Sony’s February State of Play. At the time it was the first time players had an up-close look at the gameplay, and they were of course less than enthused. It turns out that an always online, live service shooter with a battle pass is just not what people kind of want right now.

The Reason for the Delay

And Rocksteady according to the new announcement is delaying the game for yet another nine months to “work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.” Jason Schreier of  Bloomberg, who covered the earlier delay of the game, tweeted that this new delay in question is to focus on polishing the game, and however not to potentially change any of the live service elements.
