One of the major game releases for 2023, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will not be making its May launch window as per a report on Thursday from Bloomberg.

Developer Rocksteady Studios reportedly has now decided to spend more time adding more shine to the game. The title initially was planned for a 2022 release date but it was however pushed back to May 2023. It is still expected sometime in the year, although the timing of that is not yet clear.

The Effects of the Delay

The reported delay will allow Rocksteady to fix bugs and even improve on other aspects of the game that already were not ready for a May release. Publisher Warner Bros. Game did not respond to a request for comment immediately.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a four-player co-op game that is planned for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with gamers and players alike stepping on the shoes of anti-heroes Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. The four according to gameplay have been sent to the metropolis to face off against the brainwashed members of the Justice League which is inclusive of the Flash, Green Lantern, and Superman.
