Applications are now open for the Qualcomm Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program 2024. The initiative is the first of its kind in Africa and it is aimed at identifying promising early-stage startups that show promise in applying cutting-edge connectivity and processing technologies to create innovative end-to-end systems solutions, encompassing hardware.
Qualcomm Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program
Selected startups will receive comprehensive support, including business coaching, access to engineering consultation for product development, and guidance on safeguarding intellectual property.
This initiative aims to empower startups by offering them valuable resources and expertise, fostering their growth in the dynamic landscape of technology and innovation.

- You must be an open early start-up
- You must be operating in Africa
Benefits of the program
Mentorship
- You will get 1:1 mentorship with Qualcomm leaders on a regular cadence
- The program will guide startups to product realization
Skilling
There will be masterclasses on product management, pitch clinic, IPR, and hardware architecture.
Visibility
- Demo Day with the startup ecosystem
- You will have the opportunity to connect with various industry leaders, VCs, investors, and other accelerators
