Requirements for President’s PhD Scholarships 2024:
- Prospective candidates from any nationality can apply
- Candidates must have obtained a first-class bachelor’s or master’s UK degree or equivalent.
- Those with stand-alone master’s degrees must have or are about to have a distinction in their relevant program.
- Candidates with multiple standalone master’s degrees, one of their degrees has the distinction as well as must be relevant to their proposed PhD program.
- Only those candidates who have gotten in touch with the supervisor and have had their willingness to help with research work confirmed will be eligible.
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in a PhD program at Imperial College London are not eligible; only new PhD students are.
Application Process for President’s PhD Scholarships
- The President’s PhD Scholarship does not require candidates to apply separately for the award and admission.
- Interested and Qualified candidates can apply for admission online on the College’s Online Admissions System.
- In writing the mandatory personal statement, please note that the first page must include the personal interest while the second page should include the research proposal.
- In applying for the scholarship, candidates will have to select the funding section from the additional questions tab.
