The Treasury Summer Internship Program is a junior professional training course intended to equip participants with the knowledge and abilities needed for a successful and enjoyable career in the financial sector. The Program aims to recruit outstanding undergraduate students who have shown a commitment to a career in finance to aid the World Bank’s development mission.
Upon completing the degree program, the internship builds the groundwork for interns to join one Treasury team as a Junior Analyst, a two-year role. It is typical for interns to be in their second to last year of a four-year college degree program.
Eligibility Criteria
You need to meet the following criteria in order to be considered for a World Bank internship:
- Must have a demonstrated interest in finance, business, economics, or a similar field and be enrolled in the second-to-last year of a program that is the equivalent of a four-year college degree.
- between January and September 2025, be ready to earn a college degree.
- Having a strong academic record at their college or university is a requirement.
- Must be accessible full-time throughout the entire internship period.
- You are not allowed to hold an internship or concomitant work contract while applying for this Internship.
