New Tears of the Kingdom Switch is set to hit the shelves on April 28, Nintendo just revealed. And you know what this means right? A new Zelda adventure simply means new hardware for fans.
New Tears of the Kingdom Switch
Nintendo last month just unveiled a new special-edition OLED Switch that is inspired by the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The new console in question is set to launch on April 28, and preorders are now available at Best Buy, Target, GameStop as well as Amazon.
Tears of the Kingdom Is Scheduled To Come Out on May 12
Tears of the Kingdom as you should know is the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which reportedly came out when the Nintendo Switch was launched back in 2017. Breath of the Wild went on to become one of the most successful games in the franchise, thus selling over 29 million copies in the process. After it was first unveiled back in 2019, Tears of the Kingdom is scheduled to come out on May 12 this time around.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cost and Features
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom edition of Nintendo’s console reportedly costs $360 and it features a white, gold, and green design that ties directly into the upcoming sequel. The new Switch in question also has a 7-inch OLED screen and 64GB of internal storage. It however does not include the new Zelda game, which at $70 costs over most of the popular Switch games.
Nintendo to Release A Tears of the Kingdom-Themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
Nintendo also is set to release a Tears of the Kingdom-themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as well as a carrying case when the game gets to come out in May.
