This innovative initiative is strategically designed to fortify scientific endeavors addressing the pivotal challenges outlined by the COPs. The MOPGA Visiting Fellowship Program 2024 (7th edition), will accommodate at least forty (40) early-career researchers who would like to conduct research in France.

The French Ministry for Higher Education and Research, together with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, are providing the required funding for this initiative, which is run by Campus France; a public enterprise established by the law of July 27th, 2010.

Who Can Apply?

  • The MOPGA Visiting Fellowship Program is open to individuals who do not hold French citizenship.
  • Researchers with Up to 5 Years of Experience: Eligibility extends to foreign researchers holding a doctoral degree for less than 5 years, having completed their thesis defense between January 2019 and January 2024.
  • Foreign Researchers, Fresh to France: Foreign researchers who have not resided in France for more than 90 days between October 9th, 2023, and January 9th, 2024, are encouraged to apply. This ensures that the fellowship program brings in new voices and ideas that will contribute to a global collaborative effort against climate change.
