If on the other hand, you wish to remove or delete all the comments and posts that you have made on a group.

How to Delete Posts and Comments from a Facebook Group

If you would like to delete posts and comments you have published on a Facebook group, then you can choose to delete your individual post from the group or all the posts, comments, photos, and others that you have shared in the group all at once.

On the other hand, if you have been blocked from the group or you were in a hidden group, you can delete all your posts a content that you shared on the group all at once, but you will not be able to delete individual posts and other shared content.

Steps To Delete Individual Posts, Comments, or Reactions from a Group

To delete comments and posts that you have shared in a group individually, follow the steps below;

Computer

  • Firstly, click on your profile picture in the top right corner, and on your profile, click below your name and select the activity log option
  • Click on filter next to activity log in the top left
  • Scroll down the page and select groups and click on save changes
  • Scroll down to what you want to delete in the left menu and click and select delete, remove reaction, or unlike.

To delete all;

  • In the top right corner of Facebook, click on your profile picture.
  • Click below your name on your profile and select the activity log option.
  • Click on filter which is next to activity log in the top left corner.
  • Scroll down the page and select membership activity.
  • Click on save changes.
  • Scroll to the group that you want to delete your content from in the left menu and click and select delete your activity.

Android App

  • Open the Facebook app for android and tap the hamburger icon in the top right corner of Facebook and then select your name
  • Tap the three-dotted icon just below your name on your profile and select activity log
  • Next, tap on filters in the top left and select the categories tab
  • Select the group and event activities and select group posts, reactions, and comments
  • Scroll down to what you want to delete and then tap on the three-dotted icon and select the delete, remove reaction, or unlike button. Tap again to confirm the command

To delete all;

  • Tap on the menu icon in the top right corner of Facebook and then select your name
  • Tap the three-dotted icon below your name on your profile and tap on activity log
  • Next, tap on filters in the top left and select categories
  • Tap on your group and event categories tab and select group membership activity
  • Scroll to an entry page about a group that you want to delete your content from and select the three-dotted icon
  • Lastly, select delete your activity

iOS App

  • Tap on the hamburger icon in the bottom right and tap on your name
  • Tap the three-dotted icon below your name and select activity login on your profile
  • Next, on the top left, tap on filters and select categories
  • Tap on the your group and event activities button and select group posts, reactions, and comments
  • Scroll down to what you want to delete and then tap on the three-dotted icon and select delete, remove reaction, or unlike
  • Lastly, tap again to confirm

To delete all

  • Open the Facebook app for iOS and tap on the hamburger icon in the bottom right of Facebook
  • Tap on your name and tap the three-dotted icon on your profile just below your name
  • Select activity log and tap on filters in the top left and select categories
  • Tap on your group and event activities tab and select the group membership activity option
  • Next, scroll to an entry about a group that you want to delete your content from
  • Tap on the three-dotted icon and select the delete your activity tab

That’s it. Note; pages that have joined groups cannot delete posts and other content that they have shared in a Facebook group they are no longer a member of.
