You can now apply for the existing Global Health Corps U.S. Fellowship 2024-2025. This 12-month program not only offers a chance to enhance your leadership skills but also serves as a transformative experience fostering personal and professional growth.
You will be joining a global network of dedicated health equity champions and a diverse community of young leaders committed to making a positive impact.
As a fellow, you will:
- Deepen self-awareness: Identify and understand your unique leadership strengths and weaknesses. Articulate values, explore your role in advancing health equity and develop a vision for personal growth as a leader.
- Improve learning capacity: Explore barriers and opportunities for learning about yourself and your work. Develop a personal learning agenda, challenge mindsets, and explore new strategies for continuous learning.
- Extend and leverage networks: Adopt practices to expand your network strategically, gaining support and critical insights needed for leadership advancement within GHC’s global community of 1,200+ alumni and advisors.
- Understand systems change: Explore frameworks and tools to analyze the systems you work and live in. Develop an understanding of how change happens and strategies to leverage systems change.
- Increase efficacy: Gain confidence in practising leadership and achieving positive results in your workplace and community. Apply knowledge and insights from GHC’s leadership framework and leverage relationships within the GHC community.
- Access additional resources: Benefit from webinars, training, networking opportunities, and other resources from GHC and the Community Impact Team to further develop skills and deepen partnerships.
Program Components
- Tuition-free, hybrid learning approach with virtual and in-person opportunities.
- Lifelong membership in GHC’s global network of 1,300+ alumni.
- Monthly virtual workshops, small group learning, asynchronous learning, and optional learning opportunities.
- Coaching through 360° assessment, executive one-on-one coaching, and GHC staff coaching and support.
- In-person overnight retreats, mentorship from GHC alumni and partners, and integration into GHC’s global network.
Benefits of the Fully Funded Global Health Corps U.S. Fellowship 2024-2025
The fellowship runs from June to May, covering travel to retreat locations, lodging costs, and most meals for in-person retreats.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the GHC U.S. Fellowship program, you must:
- Be aged 21-30 years by June 15, 2024.
- Live in the United States full time.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Work in the United States focused on public health in a non-clinical setting.
- Have worked in your current role for at least 6 months.
No specific education or training requirements are necessary for participation.
Application Requirements
Apply by February 22 for priority consideration, with a general deadline on March 14.
Submit a resume, program references, demographic information, short responses to prompts, and a letter of recommendation from your supervisor.
