About Genevieve McMillan and Reba Stewart Foundation

The Geneviève McMillan-Reba Stewart Foundation was established in 2005 to bring to life the dreams of its founder, Geneviève McMillan (1922-2008), and to pay tribute to her friend, the artist Reba Stewart (1930-1971). This scholarship is a demonstration of Genevieve McMillan’s unwavering passion for the African continent.

Scholarships on the basis of merit have been offered by the McMillan-Stewart Foundation and the Sciences Po American Foundation since 2010.

These scholarships aim to grant access to France’s higher education system to deserving African students from sub-Saharan countries. The focus is primarily on undergraduate programs through Sciences Po’s Europe Africa program.
