FATE Institute Fellows Program 2024

The FATE Institute Fellows Program will run for two years, serving as a collaborative platform for policy experts, economists, and academia. Its primary goal is to address key gaps limiting Nigeria’s entrepreneurship potential.

After the successful launch of the pioneer cohort in 2022, the call for applications for the 2024 cohort is now open. Interested Individuals are encouraged to apply however, only Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, will be shortlisted.

Requirements for Applicants

To be part of the FATE Institute Fellows Program 2024, applicants must possess:

  • Passion for policy issues impacting the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  • Academic rigor, including an ongoing or completed PhD or Masters degree.
  • Ability to engage in policy discourses, advocacy, and collaboration with the public sector.
  • Relevant experience in policy processes and entrepreneurship ecosystem structures.

  • Full Name

  • About Yourself (150 words)
  • Educational Qualification
  • A link to your CV
  • Your description of the Nigerian entrepreneurship ecosystem in terms of structure and segments (250 words)
  • A 250-word maximum of your entrepreneurship policy research interest and why?
  • Your previous experience in policy advocacy/influencing and what you will like to do differently (250 words)
  • How does this Fellowship contribute to achieving your career goals? (250 words)
  • Applicants will need to share links to their published works. E.g. policy briefs, opinion pieces, research reports,s etc.
