Applications are now being accepted for the British Council International Collaboration Grants 2024, a £1 million grant program dedicated to fostering new cultural partnerships between UK artists, arts professionals, and organizations, and their counterparts globally.
The International Collaboration Grants aim to stimulate fresh bilateral and multilateral collaborations, offering funding to support organizations in creating and developing creative projects with their international counterparts. Additionally, the grants aim to assist individual artists in exploring innovative approaches to collaboration.
Grants
- Available grants range from £25,000 to £75,000.
Eligibility
- Applications must showcase authentic international collaboration and provide tangible benefits to participating UK artists, organizations, and their global partners. Projects can encompass any theme, and applicants are encouraged to articulate their approach to diversity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability in project delivery.
- Each project should involve at least one UK-based organization and one organization from the partner countries, which include: Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Mainland China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Montenegro, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Serbia, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
Application Requirements
The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2024, at 23:59hrs GMT. It’s important to consider the timezone and date, especially for those in Vietnam, where the deadline would technically be on May 1, 2024, at 6:59hrs BST +7 (daylight savings time).
