Asus has offered a sneak peek at its upcoming Zenfone 11 Ultra phone this week, but it won’t be making an appearance at the Mobile World Congress next week, unlike some of its competitors such as OnePlus.
Instead, Asus announced on Tuesday that it will fully unveil its next flagship phone on March 14. Early photos suggest that the Zenfone 11 will come in a larger size compared to its predecessors, the Zenfone 9 and Zenfone 10.

Teasers on Asus’ event website indicate that the new phone will be of “Ultra size,” hinting that it may not be easily manageable with one hand. This marks a departure from Asus’ previous trend of releasing phones with screen sizes under 6 inches. It seems that 6.1-inch phones are becoming the new norm in the industry.

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is promoted as having a “long-lasting battery” and various video features, including portrait mode and video stabilization. Asus has also hinted at including artificial intelligence-related features, aligning with the trend seen in most flagship phones. However, specific details will have to wait until the March 14 event.

Asus has also adopted a more mainstream design for its ROG Phone 8 Pro, departing from the futuristic appearance of previous ROG phones. Despite the change in design, the ROG Phone 8 Pro retains its powerful specifications.
