Eligibility Criteria for the African Union Civic Tech Fund 2.0
In order to be considered for the African Union Civic Tech Fund 2.0, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria below:
- The Organization must not be for-profit or non-profit operating in the civic IT ecosystem and the public domain
- The organization needs to be registered in a member state of the African Union and be a legitimate body.
- Candidates’ company must be able to have service contract agreements
- The company must be bankrupt.
- The company cannot have had a judgment against it for engaging in any illegal action, including fraud, corruption, or joining a criminal organization.
- Neither the organization’s own auditors nor the auditors of its donors may have given the organization an unfavorable audit opinion.
