This scholarship program is offered by the MSD Animal Health and the World Veterinary Association (WVA).
The 2022 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program launched by the WVA and MSD is dedicated to veterinary students from four world regions (Latin America, Africa, North Africa/Middle East, and Asia/Oceania) to enhance their academic experience.

Criteria for WVA Veterinary Student Scholarship Program Qualification
- The candidate must not be a recipient of any previous MSD Animal Health/WVA scholarship.
- The ideal candidate must be a Citizen of one of the countries under the grant coverage: Latin America, Africa, North Africa/Middle East and Asia/Oceania.
- Applicants must be current registered Students for the academic year 2022-2023 at a recognized school of veterinary medicine in the country.
- He/She must Have completed all first-year exams.
- The applicant must be Registered in the second – or third-year year of the program (or equivalent if the program is longer than 4 years).
- All First and final-year students are not eligible candidates for this scholarship program.

Interview date and Venue for WVA Scholarship Program
The names of all successfully selected students will be published by 26-29th April 2023 during the World Veterinary Association Congress in Taipei, Taiwan.
