The Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), in collaboration with the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) and the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA), is delighted to announce the commencement of the third cohort of the “Women in Clean Cooking” (WICC) mentorship programme.

Building on the resounding success of the 2021 and 2022 Women in Clean Cooking mentorship programmes, the 2023 edition aims to provide unparalleled support and guidance to women working in the clean cooking sector. The mentorship programme offers a range of benefits that include:

Eligibility Criteria for Women in Clean Cooking Mentorship Programme

To be eligible for the Women in Clean Cooking mentorship programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be nationals from Africa, Asia, or Haiti and must be currently employed in any country within Africa, Asia, or Haiti.
  • The programme seeks women actively engaged in the clean cooking sector, with a strong commitment to supporting Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 7, women’s empowerment, and gender equality.
  • Applicants should hold early to mid-career positions, possessing 2-10 years of relevant work experience.
