Eligibility Criteria for the University Of Maine Presidential Scholarship
Only students who meet the requirements below are eligible for the Presidential Scholarships:
- Students must be International first-year and transfer undergraduate students
- Candidates who receive the Canadian resident tuition rate are not eligible for this award.
- Applicants who are sponsored students are not eligible for this award.
- There is no yearly renewal of this award. However, students are required to maintain full-time enrollment and a minimum CGPA of 3.00 for the scholarship to be renewed.
- Scholarship recipients must also remain on a non-immigrant student visa F-1 or J-1 to be eligible.
- Special consideration will be given to Female applicants and applicants from countries underrepresented in the University of Maine.
