UCSB Admission Requirements For Fall 2023
UCSB admission guidelines are intended to guarantee that you are well-prepared to succeed at UC. If you want to be a freshman at the University of California, you must meet the following requirements
- Ensure to Complete 15 A-G courses i.e 11 of them before the end of junior year).
- You must complete at least 15 college-preparatory courses (A-G) with a letter grade of C or better.
- UC will recognize grades of CR (credit) and P (pass) for courses completed between Winter 2020 and Summer 2021.
- You must complete at least 11 of these courses before the start of your senior year of high school. Amongst other courses are: History(2 years), English (4 years), Mathematics (3 years), and science (2 years).
- Earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above in these courses (3.4 if you are a non-resident) with no grade lesser than a C.
- At a participating high school, ensure you are in the top 9% of your graduating class.
