The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Reportedly Drops

The Mandalorian season 3 is set to start things off on Disney Plus in March. And now Lucasfilm has dropped a fresh new trailer on Monday to get enthusiasts excited for more live-action Star Wars. The new season more importantly will chronicle the further adventures of Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda.

The released trailer opens with shots of several colorful Mandalorians, and then we get to see Djn Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu leaving Tatooine in their new Naboo N-1 Starfighter and it seems that they are bound for the ruined Mandalore apparently.

What the Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Unveils

We also get to see sneaky Imperial scientist Dr. Pershing on Coruscant, the galactic capital you may remember him as the guy that harvested the blood of Grogu in a failed effort to replicate his Force capabilities in other people. It is still unclear as to what he is p to in the wake of Moff Gideon, his boss, being taken prisoner by the New Republic, but he is however still reporting to some Imperial baddy.

“There’s something dangerous happening out here,” Captain Carson Teva of the New Republic says, in a probable reference directed at the First Order. “And by the time it becomes big enough for you to act, it’ll be too late.”

Grogu also makes use of those Force powers to take a really nasty beast out of a cave, thus suggesting that he has become more proficient with them ever since the spinoff show of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Premiere Date

Season 3 of the series will start on Wednesday, March 1. It will reveal what really happened to Grogu and Mando after they reunited in the Book of Boba Fett over eight episodes, and also the deal with the fallout of Mando being cast out of his intense religious sect in season 2 for getting to take away his helmet.

Remember that the second season of the series ended in the latter part of 2020 and we had to wait for Disney’s D23 convention last September for the upcoming first trailer of the season.
