Star Wars: The Bad Batch Final Season

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is reported to be coming to an end. During the Star Wars Celebration of this year, Lucasfilm reportedly announced that the animated series has been renewed for a third and final season and that it will arrive on Disney Plus in 2024.

The Clone Wars spinoff as you should already know follows a group of experimental clone troopers that are known collectively as Clone Force 99, who became fugitives after they resisted the said Order 66 command that brainwashed their counterparts into viewing Jedi as traitors. The second season of the show’s just wrapped up in the previous month, and the fans at the Star Wars Celebration got a first look at what’s to come with an in-room teaser trailer during the event.

The Content of the Shared Teaser Trailer

The teaser, which studio, Lucasfilm has yet to post online, opens with Emperor Palpatine, who is once again voiced by Ian McDiarmid, and then teases the appearance of Dr. Royce Hemlock as well as The Mandalorian bounty hunter Fennec Shand. There are also “glimpses of several worlds and characters, including Republic commandos, clones, Rex,” and “plenty of giant creatures,” as per Lucasfilm.

The Bad Batch Release Date

We still really do not know the exact release date for the final season of The Bad Batch, but, with Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 set to make a premiere in May and Star Wars: Ahsoka making its own debut in August, we’ll have plenty of Star Wars content to keep us busy until we finally get to find out.
