Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Benchmark Leaked
Several Pieces of the Samsung Galaxy S24 jigsaw continue to find their way out of the bag, all thanks to leaks and rumors, and the latest and yet unofficial information we have on the 2024 flagship phone directly relates to its chipset: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Newly leaked benchmarks as you should know reported by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station (via Notebookcheck) all point to a serious amount of processing power. We are however looking at around a 15% increase in CPU performance as well as a 39% increase in GPU performance over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, all based on these very figures.
The scores in question have been calculated via the AnTuTu benchmark, and just as you should know it is not the first time that benchmarks for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 have been leaked as the chipset in question has also been seen recording high scores on the Geekbench 6 benchmark tests.
What You Should Know About Raw Benchmark Figures
Raw benchmark figures really do not tell you everything in regards to the performance of a phone of course, because there are several other factors that are involved which can range from RAM to software optimizations. They however give you a glimpse and a good idea of the speed that a handset will be running at, and higher scores in question are definitely better than lower ones.
Qualcomm Announcement Regarding the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
Qualcomm on its end has yet to make any announcement regarding the Snapdragon 8 gen 3, but a full reveal on the other hand is very much expected on Tuesday, October 24 at the very much anticipated Snapdragon Summit event. And at the event, we should get some official information regarding just how fast this silicon in question is.
Once it has been announced, the chip in question will be ready to be utilized in future takes on the best Android phones. That in question is inclusive of the Samsung Galaxy 24, although the rumors as you should know are that the phone in question will only use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in certain parts of the globe (primarily the US).
