Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is set to offer big night improvements on photography and it is even reported to sport a better main sensor, as well as zoom photos and night shots.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Set To Offer Big Night Improvements on Photography
The Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra at the moment holds the top spot in the list of best camera phones. And reports coming in now claim that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could be way better in terms of photography with improvements to the main camera, low light shots, and telephoto performance.
This news is according to @Universelce, a leaker who has an excellent track record and sent out a flurry of tweets all hyping his upcoming smartphone.
The tweets all claim that its night photography and night video skills have been greatly improved with low-light photos being much better than those on the galaxy S22 Ultra. They even go as far as ot state that this is “the biggest improvement of Samsung’s flagship mobile phone in five years.”
Presumably, they simply mean the biggest improvement to night photography, but whichever way that’s a really big claim.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Will Be Sporting A 200MP Main Sensor
It is not just the night photos feature that will be getting better. This is according to the same source saying that not for the first time that the Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra will be sporting a 200MP main sensor which is an upgrade from the 108MP on the galaxy S22 ultra.
That’s however not a new claim though but they also added that it is the strongest 200MP camera that they have seen so far on a smartphone and that it also has ‘unparalleled analytical power.’
Slightly less promisingly though, they say that this 200MP camera is not capable of taking 50MP photos through pixel binning at the moment. Though this is apparently a software, rather than hardware problem and it is being worked on as we speak so by the time the phone finally launches, 50MP shots might be very much possible.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Will Be Sporting the Same 3x and 10x Optical Zoom Cameras As the S22 Ultra
Lastly, they say that while the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will apparently be sporting the same 3x and 10x optical zoom cameras as the S22 Ultra, the resulting photo quality will be much improved, all thanks to better colors and AI algorithms.
Therefore, the only expected rear camera not mentioned here is the ultra-wide, which might simply mean that’s not being improved, but only time will tell. But either way, if @UniverseIce’s claims turn out to be true, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could be the top camera phone in 2023, just like the S22 Ultra did this very year.
