Nvidia’s RTX 4060 order date revealed and it will be available on June 29th. The $299 40-series card is finally arriving a bit earlier than the previously announced Nvidia date.
Nvidia’s RTX 4060 Order Date
Nvidia has reportedly said that its upcoming GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card will be available to order beginning on June 29th at 9 AM ET / 6 AM PT. That newly announced date is slightly earlier than the July release window that was previously announced for the card by Nvidia, which at $299 represents the most affordable entry so far into the 40-series GPU lineup by the company. When it was announced in the previous month, Nvidia positioned the RTX 4060 for gaming at 1080p rather than the usual 1440p or 4K.
With their (relatively) really affordable type of pricing, Nvidia’s 60-class GPUs are often among the most popular (well-known), according to Steam’s hardware survey. The RTX 4060 in question is starting at just $30 less than the RTX 3060 that preceded it, and although it is equipped with less VRAM this generation (8GB versus 12GB previously). The new RTX 4060 should however run more power efficiently, thus drawing a total of 115 watts of total graphics power as well as averaging around 110 watts (versus 170 watts previously recorded during gameplay).
The RTX 4060 Will Sit Below Two Ti-Variants in the Lineup from Nvidia
The RTX 4060 will eventually sit just below two Ti-variants in the lineup from Nvidia, which are namely the $399 RTX 4060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM and a second $499 RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB of RAM. Nvidia however released the 8GB 4060 Ti model in the previous month while the 16GB model on the other hand is still very much scheduled for release in July, per the website of Nvidia.
Is RTX 4060 Better Than 3080
Well, this is kind of a trick question, but I have an answer for you. While the RTX 4060 Ti is seen to come with 8GB GDDR6 memory, the RTX 3080 0n the other hand offers users greater 10GB of the faster GDDR6X memory, thus promising a higher bandwidth in the process as well as potentially even better frame rates.
How Much Is the Cost of the RTX 4060
The upcoming mid-range Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 gaming GPU as mentioned already in this post will reportedly come with 8GB of VRAM and it will be arriving on June 29th, 2023. And with that being said, it will reportedly cost just $299. The gaming GPU Company officially has revealed the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 as the cheapest RTX 4000 series card so far in the lineup.
What Is the RTX 4060 Equivalent To
The equivalent AMD card as you should know would be the RX 6650 XT, which is released at the same $400 price point and RX 6650 XT as just as the FPS review reveals in their review the RTX 4060 Ti offers a whole lot more performance at that very same price.
