We are pleased to inform you that Leading The Middle East Scholarships 2024, offers you a remarkable opportunity to participate in the One Young World Summit in Montreal, Canada, from September 18th to 21st, 2024, About 2000 young passionate leaders from over 190 countries will participate in this submit.
The One Young World Summit serves as a platform for young leaders to connect, share insights, and collaborate on innovative solutions to pressing issues. Past attendees have been inspired by influential figures such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman, and Mary Robinson, gaining valuable knowledge and perspectives to drive change in their communities.
About Leading The Middle East Scholarships
Leading The Middle East Scholarships is an award that brings together, eligible young leaders from the Middle East to represent the region at the 2024 One Young World Summit in Montreal, Canada.
The scholarship recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, a commitment to creating positive change, and a track record of impactful contributions in their respective fields.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Leading The Middle East Scholarships, applicants must fulfill the requirements below:
- Age Criteria: Applicants must meet the required age of 18 and 30 years
- Evidence of a commitment to delivering positive change is required
- Candidates must demonstrate capacity for leadership
- Impact: Addressing key local and/or global issues in their work
- Applicants must have a Track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas
- Nationality: Only Citizens of one of the below listed Middle East countries are eligible for the Leading The Middle East Scholarship.

Benefits
The selected Candidates for Leading The Middle East Scholarships will receive the benefits below:
- Participation in the prestigious One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada
- Hotel accommodation from September 17th to 21st, 2024 (duration of the submit)
- Catering services including breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided to recipients
- Cost coverage for Travel expenses to and from Montreal, this includes flight costs from and to the same international airport

Selection Process:
By the middle of May 2024, a shortlist of the best candidates will be created. If you are selected for further consideration, a member of the One Young World team will be in touch with you directly.
Note: There is no assurance that any application will be considered for a shortlist or receive funding.
- Applicants from nations with lower representation at previous One Young World Summits will be given preference.
- First-time Summit attendees (not One Young World Ambassadors) will also receive priority.
- One Young World is unable to reply to individual letters asking about the results of the Leading The Middle East selection process due to the massive volume of applications we receive.
- No explanation is given to applicants that weren’t chosen.
