In line with this goal, Deloitte is pleased to endorse the Lead2030 Challenge for SDG4 for the fifth consecutive year. By joining forces, Deloitte can expedite the implementation of inventive, youth-led solutions to accomplish inclusive, fair, and high-quality education for all.

Aligned with Deloitte’s goal of equipping 100 million individuals for a world of possibilities by 2030, the challenge aims to support scalable youth-led solutions that:

  • Implement innovative methods and technology.
  • Tackle the underlying causes of the problem.
  • Show the capacity to generate impact and grow.
  • Acknowledge current initiatives and work together with others to expedite impact.
  • Create opportunities for collective impact by involving a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Enhance the quality of, or access to, education and skill development to prepare young people for success.

Benefits

The winning solution will receive:

  • Support to attend the One Young World Summit 2024
  • A grant of US$50,000 from Deloitte
  • A year of guidance from a group of Deloitte experts and partners. They will provide support to advance your solution according to the requirements of your initiative or organization, including:
  • Business strategy
  • Best practices for data collection
  • Monitoring and evaluation
  • Product design

 Eligibility Criteria

  • Aligned with the SDG4 challenge.
  • Established by an individual between the ages of 18 and 30.
  • Well-defined timeframe identified key stakeholders and beneficiaries, and proposed outcomes that are realistic and carefully considered.
  • The solution is currently accessible, undergoing pilot testing, implementation, or expansion.
  • Solutions must have a favorable social impact, such as generating educational achievements, creating employment opportunities, or fostering skill development.
  • The societal impact of the solution must be adequately measured or measurable.
  • Must have the capability to achieve efficiency and sustain itself independently through generated resources and/or attracted investments and donations.
  • Potential to increase impact through expansion in scope or size and into other regions.
