The 2023 edition of KAUST Global Fellowship Programme is open for Applications. KAUST is offering support for research activities in line with the KAUST Five Research Pillars which are;
- Water
- Environment
- Digital Domain
- Food & Health and
The available programs for KAUST Global Fellowship Program include; Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering (BESE), Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Science and Engineering (CEMSE), and Physical Science and Engineering (PSE).

Upon Successful application, the KAUST Global Fellows are expected to live and work at KAUST and undertake work in one of the research laboratories on campus, in Saudi Arabia.

Benefits of KAUST Global Fellowship Program 2023
- The fellowship program at KAUST offers each proposal an independent annual research budget of up to $45,000, along with a yearly living stipend of $75,000
- Plus other benefits including medical insurance, accommodation, schooling, relocation, and travel allowances to focus on their independent research on a full-time basis.
- Fellows will have easy access to research tools, equipment, unparalleled laboratory facilities and expertise working with their host Faculty Primary Investigator at KAUST.

Criteria for KAUST Global Fellowship Program
- Applicants are Expected to be within four years of earning their Ph.D.
- He/She must expect to complete their Ph.D. before the commencement of the Fellowship;
- An Applicant must be ready to move in KAUST to undertake their proposed three-year research project and also meet all Kingdom of Saudi Arabia requirements to obtain resident status;
