Intelsat Space STEM Learning Scholarship 2023 for Young African Students
Intelsat and MaxIQ have Launched the Second Year of the renowned Space STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Program for teenagers across the African continent.
The Intelsat Space STEM Learning Scholarship 2023 in partnership with MaxIQ Space chooses high school students from across the continent to be involved in an intensive program where students will design and launch satellites into space.
Meanwhile, the entire program is to be done virtually, with each student receiving a STEM kit and engaging in virtual workshops delivered by space education specialists. The workshop consists of lessons, practical activities, assignments and experiments.

Eligibility Criteria for Intelsat Space STEM Learning Scholarship Qualification
Intelsat Space STEM Scholarship is open to Candidates who meets the following requirements;
- Candidates who are between the ages of 14 and 18
- Candidates who reside in Africa
- Candidates who demonstrate passion for and knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)
- Applicants must have an interest in things about “Space”
- Candidates must have access to the internet through a smart device with browser capability
- Browser skills is also a requirement
- Proficient in English
