Eligibility Criteria for GSEP ESED Scholarship 2023 Qualification

In other to be eligible for the GSEP scholarship, prospective applicants must meet the requirements below:

  • Applicants must have master’s-level studies in a field related to sustainable energy development
  • Examples of such fields include zero-carbon energy, smart grids, electric transportation, energy storage, advanced electricity technologies, public policy, economics, law, political science, etc.
  • Candidates must Pursue full-time studies for at least one full school year (two or three semesters) as of mid to late 2023
  • He or She must be a citizen of a developing country on the list of official development aid recipients identified by the Development Co-operation Directorate of the OECD
  • Should be committed to contributing to their home country’s development after their studies
  • Outstanding students with Excellent grades in the top 20% of their class will have upper hands
  • Candidates must be committed to zero-carbon energy development
  • Should have a history of community involvement
  • Must be determined to advance their knowledge and understanding
