There is currently a high demand for globally-oriented practitioners and researchers hence, this program fosters the upcoming generation of energy, climate and electricity sector specialists to be ready to address future challenges.

Eligibility Criteria for GSEP ESED Scholarship 2023 Qualification
In other to be eligible for the GSEP scholarship, prospective applicants must meet the requirements below:
- Applicants must have master’s-level studies in a field related to sustainable energy development
- Examples of such fields include zero-carbon energy, smart grids, electric transportation, energy storage, advanced electricity technologies, public policy, economics, law, political science, etc.
- Candidates must Pursue full-time studies for at least one full school year (two or three semesters) as of mid to late 2023
- He or She must be a citizen of a developing country on the list of official development aid recipients identified by the Development Co-operation Directorate of the OECD
- Should be committed to contributing to their home country’s development after their studies
- Outstanding students with Excellent grades in the top 20% of their class will have upper hands
- Candidates must be committed to zero-carbon energy development
- Should have a history of community involvement
- Must be determined to advance their knowledge and understanding
