Gemini Advance is set to revolutionize global access to artificial intelligence, offering users in more than 150 countries the opportunity to engage with Ultra 1.0, Google’s most sophisticated and expansive AI model to date.

Initially available exclusively in English, this advanced model is adept at tackling highly intricate tasks, including coding, logical deduction, interpreting complex instructions, and aiding in creative endeavors. Google has committed to expanding the model’s language support in the future.

Priced at ₦20,500 (approximately $14) monthly, Gemini Advanced is a feature of the newly introduced AI Premium Plan within Google One, Google’s subscription ecosystem, which boasts nearly 100 million subscribers. This plan includes a two-month trial period at no cost, along with benefits such as 2TB of cloud storage.

Google One AI Premium Subscribers

Google One AI Premium subscribers are also set to receive enhancements for Google Workspace applications like Gmail, Docs, Slides, and Sheets, integrating the capabilities of Gemini directly into these tools. This integration follows Google’s declaration in December 2023 about the onset of the Gemini era, a stride towards amplifying AI’s utility across diverse domains including text, images, audio, and video.

As of now, Gemini and Gemini Advanced are accessible in English through the newly launched Gemini app for Android and the Google app on iOS, but exclusively in the US. This mobile experience is scheduled to extend to Nigeria in English within the next week.

How the Gemini Mobile Application Works

The Gemini mobile application enables users to interact with the AI through text, voice commands, or image attachments, underscoring Google’s vision for a comprehensive AI assistant that is conversational, multimodal, and universally beneficial.

Addressing potential concerns about bias and unsafe content, Google emphasizes its commitment to integrating safety measures across its product range, adhering to stringent AI principles.
