Do you know how to sign up for Bard, Google’s own AI chat service? If you don’t know how to, then you are on the right page. Bard as you should know is Google’s very own answer to ChatGPT.
How to Sign Up For Bard
Google has now opened up access to Bard which is the search engine giant’s new and experimental AI chatbot. And as of Tuesday, the waiting list for the ChatGPT competitor is open for you to sign up for and try out before it is then released to the public.
Bard makes use of natural language processing and machine learning to generate responses all in real time. You can even ask it to write an email to customer service for getting a refund or plan your six-person vacation to Spain. And just like ChatGPT, Google’s AI technology isn’t fully there yet as responses may be inaccurate or even offensive, as per reports from Google.
And this is the reason access to Bard is currently limited, so early testers can use the chatbot, provide feedback to developers and then help Google to improve on the AI technology. If however you are interested in getting your hands on this early version of Bard, we will direct you on how to join the waitlist right now.
What You Need To Join the Waitlist
You really do not need much to join the waitlist. But in order to use Bard you must;
- Have a personal Google account.
- You must be 18 years and older.
- Have a supported web browser such as chrome, chromium, Firefox, Safari or Opera.
That’s it. And before you continue on your quest, you should know that Bard is only available in the US and UK at the moment.
How to Join the Bard Waitlist
To join the Bard waitlist, simply ensure that you are signed into your Google account and then go to bard.google.com on your device (phone, tablet or computer). Next, you will have to tap or click the blue Join waitlist button, and then hit the Yes, I’m in tab to confirm that you would like to join. You really don’t need to opt in to the email updates to get to join the waitlist. You will then receive an email from Google once you have been granted access to Bard.
