The Fitbit Inspire 2 still remains one of the best fitness trackers available at the moment and is well worth you considering if you are looking for a new activity band. But if are not in a great hurry, then it might just be worth waiting a couple of months to see what the Fitbit Inspire 3 has to offer. Well, it seems like there are some major upgrades coming, and if Fitbit sticks to its usual pricing strategy, it probably would not cost much more.

Well with all that stated, everything that we know about the Fitbit Inspire 3 so far would be stated below.

Fitbit Inspire 3 News and Leaks

Fitbit itself is yet to announce anything official concerning the Inspire 3, but we have reason to believe that the new fitness tracker would be coming up soon enough, and it could get a major upgrade on the Inspire 2.

As of the 22nd of March, Eagle-eyed sleuths at 9to5Google spotted references to three new devices in the install files for the official Fitbit app created for Android. We are yet to find out much about the three aside from their screen resolutions, but judging by the fact that two of them are square, they look likely to be the Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4.

The third Device, codenamed Nyota, comes in a resolution of 124 X 208 pixels, which is quite the same as the 2021’s Fitbit Luxe. This brought about the speculations that a luxe 2 might be on the horizon.

The reason for this is pretty straightforward, the Fitbit Versa 3, Sense, and Inspire 2 would all be launching on the same day, so it would actually make more sense for their successors to follow the same pattern. The Luxe, on the other hand, is not due for an upgrade yet so it would surprise everyone if a follow-up comes in 2022.

What we’re Expecting

Just as expected, the main upgrade that we are expecting to see for the Fitbit Inspire 3 is a new screen. The Fitbit Luxe is almost the same size as the inspire 2. And seeing as the screen of the Nyota has the same dimensions suggest to us that Fitbit would be making use of the same OLED display for creating its next-gen inspire. After all, it seems to already have supply chains and manufacturing processes in place.

In this situation, it seems like a major setup for the Inspire Line, which until this day has never offered anything more sophisticated than a monochrome memory-in-pixel display.

Inspire has always been the entry-level fitness tracker of Fitbit, so we are not expecting the Inspire 3 to come with the same stress-monitoring electrodermal activity (EDA) and electrocardiogram (ECG) sensors as the Fitbit Sense and charge 5. We would not be holding our breath for onboard GPS either since and charge 5. We would not be holding our breath for onboard GPS either since this is not something that you get with the Fitbit Luxe.

Fitbit New Sleep Sensor

Something that we should be expecting is a new SpO2 sensor, that is said to enhance the inspire 3’s sleep tracking abilities and could help select signs of conditions such as sleep apnea. It remains a logical choice for a company that has invested a lot in meditation and sleep tracking over the past months.
