Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the 2024 FCMB SkillPaddy Global Entrepreneurship Fund program, aspiring entrepreneurs must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be operating an existing and operational business that demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and growth.
  • The business should be up to 12 in operation. This shows that the business is stable and resilient in the competitive market.
  • Applicants are required to possess a comprehensive business plan that outlines the vision, mission, and strategies for sustainable growth.
  • Prospective Candidates are expected to have and maintain an active FCMB account with a minimum balance of N5,000.
  • In the case of Women-Owned Small and Medium Enterprises (WSMEs), the primary applicant must meet the following ownership criteria:

A minimum stake of 51% ownership.

  • The primary applicant should have at least 20% ownership from a minimum of three female members within the management team.
  • Alternatively, the business can be solely owned.
  • Applicants must commit to using the competition winnings for business-related purposes, aligning with the outlined application details. Terms and conditions apply.
