How to Apply for Emory University Scholarships 2023
In other to be considered for any and all scholar programs at Emory University:
- You have to select one of the three admission decision plans (Early Decision I, Early Decision II: https://apply.emory.edu/apply/first-year/plans-deadlines/early-decision.html
or Regular Decision: https://apply.emory.edu/apply/first-year/plans-deadlines/regular-decision.html
After selecting, simply submit all required application materials by November 15.
- You will be required to answer “yes” to the question on your application that says, Do you wish to be considered for merit scholarships?
Criteria for Emory University Scholarships 2023 Qualification
- All interested students, regardless of citizenship, can be considered for the scholar programs at Emory University
- The Applicants do not need to be nominated by a high school counsellor to be considered.
- The ideal Student must be applying for any of the three phases of admission at Emory University.

Selection Criteria
- Selection for merit-based scholar programs at Emory is administered by the Office of Admission in partnership with esteemed faculty.
- About 8,000 to 10,000 students apply to be Scholars each year, from which 175 to 200 students are selected as Scholar Finalists. The Finalists are then required to attend an on-campus Scholars Finalists Visit held in the spring. Also, the Finalists are brought to campus at no expense to the student.
- The visit includes activities and interviews designed to help finalists become better acquainted with Emory University and the distinct opportunities available for them at the institution
- Applicants whose selection as finalists didn’t pull through are still fully reviewed for admission under their selected application plan and will also automatically be considered for other smaller merit-based scholarships.
- The selection process for Scholars is entirely separate from the financial aid process. Applicants who are eligible for both merit scholarships and financial aid are first awarded.
- Applicants for financial aid may also be eligible for need-based grants and loans if there is a remaining need beyond the merit scholarship award.
