The Eira Francis Davies Scholarship covers the full tuition fee per academic year of the successful candidate who usually is an outstanding female student from a developing country. However, the student must be a citizen of a developing country and be a resident of such a country.
In addition, the student is expected to be pursuing a Master’s Program within the Faculty of Medicine, Health, and Life Science. Meanwhile, the applications for the Eira Francis Davies Scholarship for September edition 2023, were opened on 13 February and closed on May 28, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Swansea University Eira Francis Davies Scholarship
- Applicants must possess at least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates must have received an offer to study a full-time Masters’s program within the College of Human and Health Sciences at Swansea University.
- Only female applicants are eligible
- Candidates should be new students to Swansea University from September 2023.
- Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong academic ability, with a financial plan to study and
- Demonstrate motivation for the chosen course at Swansea University.
- Must be a citizen, and resident of an Eligible Countries 2023 as listed by the World Bank
- Applicants must not have received any other financial support from Swansea University
