The Hatfield Lioness Scholarship program aims at providing study opportunities to individuals with academic and personal qualities to complete and benefit from a postgraduate course. These individuals are also expected to act as a positive ambassadors for their home country in Durham.

In addition, they’re expected to put their enhanced knowledge and skills gained from the master’s program and experience in Durham to good use for the benefit of their society when they return to their home countries.

Eligibility Criteria for Durham University Durham University Hatfield Lioness Scholarship 2023-2024

  • To be eligible, Applicants must have applied for and been offered an unconditional place in their chosen master’s program by June 2023.
  • She must not be in receipt of any other scholarship to fund their postgraduate studies.

Applicants Must:

  • Have a relevant honors degree of sufficient standard to be admitted to choose a Master’s course; and
  • Have entry requirements for other courses including the relevant English language qualification
  • Not allowed to hold a Master’s degree
  • Be seen not to have the financial means to study for a Master’s degree in the UK

  • Academic merit
  • Candidate’s Personal qualities and the fit with the chosen degree program
