The organization strongly believes in the transformative potential of young people and is dedicated to identifying and honoring those who have already made a positive impact on the world. The Diana Award is unique in its focus on young achievers, utilizing a nomination process that recognizes past contributions.

Benefits of Diana Award 2024 For Outstanding Young Leaders

  • All individuals who receive the Diana Award and their nominators will have the opportunity to participate in the Virtual Diana Award Ceremony. Each recipient will receive a personalized certificate and will be enrolled in the Diana Award Development Programme. This program is designed to provide support for recipients in expanding their social impact and personal/professional growth.
  • The virtual Award Ceremony, where Diana Award recipients will be honored, is scheduled for December 2024. Recipients will receive their certificates by mail in January 2025.
  • Diana Award recipients based in the UK will also receive an invitation to visit Althorp House, the childhood home of Princess Diana. These invitations are graciously provided by Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, to acknowledge the recipients’ efforts in continuing Diana’s legacy.
  • Recipients of The Diana Award are also eligible for the Legacy Award, which is held every two years.
  • Successful Diana Award recipients will have the opportunity to attend Virtual Networking Events in January 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

For the Diana Award, individuals nominated must fall within the age range of 9 to 25 when they are nominated. It is important to note that you cannot nominate yourself, family members, or friends for the Diana Award. Here are some key eligibility criteria:

  • The nominee should be between 9 and 25 years old at the time of nomination.
  • The nominee must have been actively engaged in their social action endeavors for at least 12 months.
  • The nominator must be at least 18 years old.
  • The nominator should have a professional relationship with the nominee.
  • The nominator should not be related to the nominee.
  • The nominator must be able to provide contact details and a supporting statement from an additional supporter to validate the nomination.
  • The nominator can provide supplementary evidence of the nominee’s social action work.
