Carrington Youth Fellowship program 2023 is currently accepting applications from Entry to Mid-Level Nigerian Professionals. The Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI), is a dynamic youth-based initiative launched by the U.S. Consulate General, Lagos in 2011.
The Youth fellowship program is a community-based professional development program for entry to mid-level professionals. This year, the program has been scheduled to be run for a duration of one year.
During this one-year-long fellowship, Fellows will actively develop core leadership, communication, and program management skills, enhance their network, and receive mentoring.
Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative
Project FARMTITUDE provides selected youth with the information, skills, resources, and networks needed to launch and develop scalable and sustainable crop-based agricultural companies.
In addition to working in groups, these participants will get access to demonstration farms, receive start-up kits, and interact with a variety of partners along the agriculture value chain.
Eligibility Criteria for CYFI Entry to Mid-Level Program
Kindly take note of the following conditions, as they’re mandatory for all Applicants:
- The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 30 on or before the application deadline;
- Must be Nigerians who live in Enugu, Delta, Edo, and Rivers States;
- Demonstrates proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English;
- Must not be alumni of the Carrington Fellowship.
- Applicants must be available to participate in the one-year-long program in Enugu, Delta, and Rivers States.

Every year Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) Fellows in groups of 2-4 implement projects that address a current issue in Nigeria within the CYFI focus areas

Even after admitting Fellows to the program, if we discover a discrepancy or incorrect information, we will immediately deem the application void, and the applicant will become ineligible.
