About CYFI – Carrington Youth Fellowing Initiative
The objective of the Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) is to offer mentorship, networking, training, and funding opportunities to eligible young Nigerian entrepreneurs in Nigeria in social innovation projects.
Meanwhile, the primary aim of the project that is being funded via the CYFI is to develop the selected group impact leaders.
The selection of applicants is based on the following; passion, skill, experience, strategic thinking and vision necessary to implement their own innovative and impactful projects.
Once the selection process is concluded and candidates selected, candidates will be invited for an interview which is to take place in US Consulate, Lagos, Nigeria.
Fellows must have their projects completed before the due time. Subsequently, the CYFI Board of Directors awards the candidates for the innovative ideas and creative thinking displayed during the interview.
