Applications are currently being accepted for the Bridge Leadership Foundation Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship 2024. This program, serving as the flagship Fellowship initiative of The Bridge Leadership Foundation, is a fully-funded, non-partisan Political Leadership development project.

Its purpose is to nurture and equip young Nigerians for leadership roles at the local, regional, and national levels, to enhance the quality of Nigeria’s leadership pool and to amplify the impact of developmental interventions.

Throughout the year-long duration of the fellowship, participants will have the privilege of gaining access to customized content presented by a thoughtfully curated group of individuals, including Politicians, Development Experts, Historians, Civil Society Leaders, Religious Figures, Advisors, and Mentors.

Additionally, the Emerging Political Leaders Fellowships offer a unique opportunity for fellows to gain insights into and demystify Nigerian politics. This is achieved through a well-structured program that pairs fellows with credible past and present politicians, facilitating hands-on experiences and shadowing opportunities in various locations.

  • Location-based Internship/Shadow Program with credible past and serving Politicians.

Who Qualifies?

Emerging Leaders who are:

  • Active in mainstream politics in Nigeria.
  • Possess a proven track record of service within a community, region, and Nigeria.
  • Demonstrate accountability, integrity, strategy, and resilience.
  • Aged between 25 and 35.
  • Meet all statutory requirements to run for office at all levels in Nigeria.
  • Have no criminal record or ongoing criminal case/investigation with national or international security bodies (e.g., Interpol, EFCC).
