Historically, the apple company has not really had a great track record in regards to device battery life. This is so as its gadgets such as the iPhone, iPad, and most especially the Apple watch need a lot of charging at a more frequent rate than many of its competitors.

Apple Has Tried To Change the Battery Capacity of Their Devices in Recent Years

The company however has made efforts in a bid to change that in recent times and years with the iPhone 13 Pro Max battery life offering the best score of any iPhone to date and it even ducked it out with the best phones on offer. The company however with the iPhone 14 family lineup has made a very risky gamble.

And while the tech company does not reveal the battery capacity of its devices but instead relies on the estimates which at most times prove head-scratchingly inaccurate, the milliampere-hour figure which is often used as a source of comparison in regards to reviews of phones gets out quickly in general.

Apple Has Listed the Capacities Of The iPhone 14 With a Hazardous Material Company Chemtrec

This has happened with the iPhone 14 series as Apple has now listed the capacities with a hazardous material company known as Chemtrec as seen by 9to5Mac. And all thanks to this very information, we now know the very capacity of each member of the iPhone 14 lineup.

To get this started, let’s kick off with the base iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 has a 3,279mAh power pack which is a slight upgrade to the 3,227mAh of the iPhone 13. This is so small that it really will not lead to any form of a noticeable difference in battery life.

The iPhone 14 Plus has a 4,325mAh battery life and while the lack of an iPhone 13 plus means that we will not be able to compare this with the previous year’s model, it’s just 2mAh off the size of the 14 Pro Max which of course has the same display size.

The iPhone 14 pro on the other hand has a 3,200mAh battery life. The previous year’s model, the iPhone 13 pro had a 3,095mAh battery. That being said, it is an upgrade and thus should convert to a difference that’s more noticeable.

Finally, the iPhone 14 pro max gets a 4,323mAh pack, which is a touch that is smaller than the 4,352mAh unit from the previous year. This 29mAh downgrade is very small that is not really worth talking about as any form of impactful change.
