Tech company apple at the moment is reportedly halting the production of the iPhone 14 plus temporarily as it works out whether or not there is enough demand for the new phone.
And unlike the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 which launched alongside the smaller iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 mini, apple has decided that the iPhone 14 lineup, bigger is better and has thus released the iPhone 14 Plus alongside the standard model. This very bigger version of the latest iPhone does not come with all the bells and whistles of the iPhone 14 pro, but it is more of a budget-friendly upgrade over the base model.
The Reason for Apple’s Decision
It however appears that this very option has not proven to be hit with customers. This is so because apple has reportedly paused the production of the iPhone 14 Plus despite the device having been on sale for less than two weeks now.
iPhone 14 Plus Assembly Plants Are Cutting Down Production
The iPhone-making company apple is reported to have told a Chinese manufacturer of the device to pause production of the iPhone 14 plus components, while two plants on the other hand that assemble iPhone 14 plus components into bigger components are said to have also started cutting down production by a whopping 70% and 90% respectively. And according to the report, the said pause has been put in position while the company on the other continues reevaluating the demand for the smartphone.
