After many months of rumors, amazon has now finally confirmed a second prime-exclusive event for 2022. The vent will be taking place on October 11 and 12 and it will be a 48-hour deal bonanza that will be offering members-only savings for its prime members. And just as the name suggests, the new sale is crafted to give shoppers the first chance to get their hands on some of the best amazon deals of the year ahead of the busy holiday shopping season that normally and generally gathers steam around Black Friday in November.
If you think that the new sale is sounding a lot more like the annual prime day sales of amazon then you are right, in all but its name, which is a second Prime day Sale. This will be the first time amazon is holding two such events in a single calendar year. Prime Day as we all know it was taken from its usual summer spot to October back in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What the Second Prime Day Event Offers
Online shopping company Amazon made the announcement that the new global event will be offering tons of deals across a host of product categories and this is including home, electronics, fashion, pets, toys, kitchens, and many amazon-owned devices.
You should also know that the company will be running top 100 lists that will be featuring the ‘most popular and giftable items,’ with many new deals dropping all through the event, plus a new Toys We Love list for those buyers who are shopping for kids. Featured brands on the other hand will include iRobot, Hasbro, Samsung, and KitchenAid.

And as you should know, the prime Early Access Sale will be an international affair and it will be taking place in countries and regions of the world such as Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the UK, and the US.
Selected early deals also will be launching today and this is including a four-month free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited, a free one-year Grubhub Plus for prime members, and many more.
