The A.G. Leventis Post-Doctoral fellowship aims to help scholars develop their research interests in collaboration with their counterparts in London.
Successful Applicants will spend about 10 weeks as visitors of the Centre of African Studies in order to pursue their research in libraries and archives and to participate in the intellectual life of the Centre.
About the Leventis Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program
The Post-Doctoral fellowship program specifically targets scholars who are working up a PhD thesis into publishable form. In other to be considered for the fellowship, applicants ate required to provide certain documents which are listed in this post.
The Leventis Fellowship is designed for younger scholars to develop their research interests in the field of libraries and archives and to participate in the intellectual life of the Center. All Nigerian academics are highly encouraged to apply for this research fellowship.
The full duration of the fellowship is three months and particularly appropriate for scholars working up a PhD thesis into publishable form.

About Leventis Foundation
The Leventis Foundation in Nigeria is a charitable company of the A.G Leventis Group, the foundation is dedicated to the training of farmers in modern and sustainable agricultural practices and rational use of natural resources.
Since the year 1987, the Leventis Foundation has been consistent in running agricultural training for youths and farmers, and currently has six schools in the different agro-ecological zones of Nigeria.
The foundation’s schools are located in Abuja, Osun, Kaduna, Kano, and Gombe states, they’re co-financed by Leventis Foundation and the respective State Governments.
